John Mauldin: Year of Waiting
by Conor on Jan.12, 2010, under News
Green Taxi: Essentially, in 2010, we are waiting for the next recession to hit, along with a multitude of other factors that could determine how fast (tax hike all at once?) and powerful the impact.
John Mauldin’s first post of the year explains a lot of the problems that we face and how they will slowly hit us. Read more articles on this …
Twenty Ten: Deja Vu on the Net
by Conor on Jan.08, 2010, under News
Green Taxi: Strangely, I’ve seen three examples of the past couple of days of people having Internet Deja Vu. I have no idea what this means, but it surely is lining up for a strange year.
The Big Picture – Here is the quote from this blog post.“Someone emailed me this great line. I wrote back, saying that’s Read more article…
Is Mobile Media Responsible for the Massive Drop in Crime Rates?
by Conor on Jan.07, 2010, under News
Green Taxi: Check out the crime rate headlines for the first half of 2009 that have been coming out from the FBI over the last two weeks.
In the first half of 2009, as unemployment skyrocketed, violent crime (reported murders, forcible rapes, robberies and aggravated assaults) decreased by 4.4 percent compared with the first half of 2008

Tiger’s Bad Press
by Conor on Jan.05, 2010, under News
Green Taxi: I love the quote I saw in Newsweek yesterday:

by Conor on Dec.30, 2009, under News
Green Taxi: From the most recent InformationIsBeautiful.net post that is worth reading alongside this graphic.
I think the important chart to look at from this whole post is the one on the bottom right, which focuses on published papers by climatologists. It would seem to me that climatologists primary focus these days would be on proving or d…
Sidebar Suggestions?
by Conor on Dec.29, 2009, under News
Green Taxi: Somehow the sidebars of the GreenTaxi.com blog homepage were completely erased last week. I believe it had something to do with an iPhone plugin I have and trying to edit the sidebars via the plugin.
The point is, that I am starting from scratch. Does anyone have any suggestions for what they’d like to see on Read more articl…
No More T-Mobile Blackberry
by Conor on Dec.28, 2009, under News
Green Taxi: I officially dropped T-mobile and the Blackberry yesterday and ported my old number over to my AT&T iPhone. For better or for worse, I am not locked in to the AT&T nightmare of a network (or is it?) and the revolution that is the iPhone.
I will miss the ability to type quickly on the Read more articles on this topic at Green …
